- Brush kit including Dandy Brush ,Curry Comb , Soft Brush, Hoof Pick and Main and Tail Brush (on the right).
- A lead rope of any color
- Food- hay,bran,oats,beet pulp and for treats you can give your horses garden apples or carrots.
- Enough money to give your horse the treatment it needs like vet care.
- Bridle and a saddle that is the right size for you and your horse.
- With the saddle you will need a comfy saddle pad and do not forget to get the right sized one or it will be very uncomfortable for the horse.
- You will need a large acreage of land for your horse/horses to spend time in.
- You need time and a good routine that you do every day with your horse or pony so that it stays happy on your ranch.
- You will also need money to pay for a farrier to get their hooves done once in a while.
- Your horse will need a shelter to.You also want to make sure the horse has enough space to move.
- You need enough money to take care of the vet bills so your horse will be happy and healthy .
- This one will be the most important thing that you need to take care of a horse.You have to truly care about your horse you will also need lots and lots of patience to take care of your horse or pony when they don’t do what you say the time you say it.
- Make sure you have a feeding place that you will put the food in every day because you don’t want them eating of the ground.
- It is best to have a salt lick for your horse too so that when they sweat out their electro-lights they can regain them by licking their salt lick .
- You will also need a place to hold their water and when it gets colder make sure you can heat up the water, but remember do not heat it up to much. I like to heat the water a little bit colder than Luke warm.
